The up lantern parade 2012 was held last night, which is the event that marks our Christmas vacation, the photos will narrate what happened coz I'm busy right now fixing myself and doing some make up, lels.

 Today on our film class, we had a mini party, jus chillin out, drinking, eating, meeting new people. LOL. I really adore our prof. I also think I'm falling in love with him. LOLOLOL. I'm just disappointed I didn't had the chance to get a small talk with him. :) :(

LOL. Anyway, today is technically our last day due to our generous profs' decision of not having classes tom and on Friday {which is our university's lantern parade}. Yay! Though I'm a lil bit sad that I wont be with Sar and Ag on that day, I'm still looking forward to be with my bitches.

Blah, I need to finish this now to continue my thesis, so at least I was able to consult my design schematics to other adviser and I can confidently change the stuffs I didn't see or were wrong. So go Arki peeps!

Side note: the sketches on the photos are (first) my doodle while watching "Diablo" on Film earlier and the rest are my conceptual sketches for my thesis.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you all that if I developed my skill in criticizing film this semester, I might return my film reviews, I just realized how shallow I look into films before.

Side note on the side note: UP oblation run will be happening also on Friday 12nn. geesh I wanna experience no, I wanna see it! :))

Speechless, this is the hard part of not blogging immediately on the day when these photos are taken. Mmm, {recall recall}..so I'm proud of myself and very thankful to Hans because I was able to learn to drive manually, though still on first gear, but STILL!

Yeah yeah, still got a lot of things to do, I finally gain my eagerness to work on and focus on my thesis. Thanks to long over due books I borrow form our lib. :D

Evolutionary architecture is the focus of my thesis. The style of the non-conformist {aka hipsters} architects. LOL.

Anyway, where in Manila were these photos taken? We searched for a deserted parking space so that I could drive Hans' car like how you ride a bump car. hahahaha. And so we found the Prism beside the MOA mall. I'm attracted to this building since it was freshly built. I love the overhang in the middle that connects the two buildings. I wanted to say "I wonder what the concept is?" but I think it's like asking the obvious.

One last stretch

1 - One last stretch and this sem is over. 

2 - I bought a new notebook for next sem and a notepad which only costs P30. :D

I also can't wait for tomorrow. I feel goosebumps to think that tomorrow will be our grad photo shoot. I just hope everything will went well for this sem and incoming sem. Please.

Puerto Princesa day 2

Our second day is reserved for my thesis research, we first headed to Puerto Princesa's city hall. From airport, we rented a tricycle going to the Junction, an intersection of the Rizal ave (airport) and their national highway, for a ride with a multicab going to PP's city hall. Their is no jeep or taxis on what we saw so far, just private vehicles, tricycles with wide front and multi cabs roaming the streets of Puerto.

 This is a building near the city hall, the land registration authority. The city hall is quiet hidden.

 We had lunch in a carinderia nearby. We're not that adventurous with our taste buds, though I saw a seaweed made into laing, so we ate breaded pork. Call us corny.

 Back to the airport for some site ocular inspection, a heavy rain suddenly poured.

 We are stranded in this building and discovered the restaurant where we'll gonna eat tomorrow.

What's wrong with this building?

 Still raining hard, we didn't let the rain ruining our plans for that day, we still headed back to airport. And with the help of CAAP I was able to see the interior and even the VIP sections of the terminal.

Arriving passengers will be greeted with this huge signboard and waiting hotel and tour sales agents.

 Unluckily, I can't go to my site because according to DOTC's Engr Bubot, it was full of trees that I can't even see any views from there.

Done interviewing and data gathering, we now proceed to catch a glimpse of a free beach where we plan to swim by tomorrow.
