After how many failed attempts to blog again

Hi! For sure, no one will see this, as my small number of readers have already forgotten me. Oh no! It's like going back to 0 again. *mecries

But I don't care. What really matter now is that I'm back to the thing that makes me happy. A lot happened. And it will be a bore to narrate each one of them. Let's just say that we will just recap those moments if the situation calls for it. But for now I'm making this post to just start again!

And here's a repetitive photos of me that you (uh, if anyone is reading) surely missed!
I know, I'm getting fatter and fatter. But I'm working on it, a little. haha. But if I can't, oh well, what's important is that we are healthy, right? :P (excuses)

It's getting late. And I promise that this is the start of another great blogging experience. Happy Monday everyone!

PS. I'm thinking of:
  • doing some reviews on products that I've been spending mostly of my wage. :P
  • re-opening Eclectic shop, with more of a DIY stuff
  • revamping my room, as you can see on the picture, nothing has changed,

tuesdays with mori girl

I made my own flower crown and have a new job that will start on Monday. I'm so tense, hope I'll do well with my work.

And to celebrate my small accomplishment, I bought a new shoes from my favorite shop, forever 21. And because it has floral prints and I also wanted to use my new crown, I end up dressing up like a mori girl.

This look should have been taken outside with a forest vibe or grassland backdrop but I can't go out because my papa just got home from his work outside our country and I wanted to spend my weekend with him. So just bear with me and wish me luck with my new job!

little miss tangerine

While fixing my closet, I played dress up. And here's what I got. As a late bloomer of fashion and sometimes goes with the local fashion trend of the mass, I opted for the color that makes an appearance everywhere on the local market this year. And you guessed it right. Salmon.
Serena in salmon colored coat and dark mint hand bag with fake cousin wearing a red top hat
This color looks good with mint. Oh my weakness. And while I'm watching Gossip Girl season 5, I observed that Serena pulled this palette more than,I guess, a year ago.

wanderer

Last weekend, we went to Binondo. Sar and Ag, together with Pao introduced to Me and Hans, a Chinese restaurant called "Tasty Dumplings". The serving is generous. Though I'm not really into Chinese food, I liked the tossed noodles and the fried porkchop.

And going in one of the oldest place in the Philippines, I wore an outfit suitable for the streets of Manila and the hot climate of our country.

my cookie monster smile

thanks to Hans' mom for giving me this shoes
BTW, happy mother's day to all moms out there!

And here's a lovely sight of Binondo church.

Sunset Kiss

I posted this look because:
  1. I love my new oxfords.
  2. Utoy joined me with this shoot.
  3. Our unattractive/unfinished house looks appealing in the picture. (brutalism indeed)

2013 fashion trends

I've thought of posting the 2013 fashion forecasts I've gathered from googling. I know almost a quarter of the year had already passed, but for me this year is still a long way to go. So anyway, here's one of the designs I've recreated base on my research. If I have my own line, this might be my collections for this year. :))
Due to the trend of nostalgia that is going everywhere, reviving fashion from the 90s down to the 70s came into picture for the fashion world. This year is the year for the 60s. And mini dress is the trend for that decade. In my drawing, I designed the dress with pastel colored zebra prints, that also look like geometric prints, in which animal prints and geometric patterns will still be the craze for 2013. But because I'm really not into dark colored animal prints I improvised to make it look young and fresh.

I'll post the other sketches on my next posts, as my lazy ass have been distracted on watching the Moonrise kingdom, which is I'm still halfway on watching it. Thanks to my as lazy as I am internet connection. Now I haven't finished anything. And I need to go now to my friends birthday blow out. Xiao.

{After 6 hours}

Im back! And I'll finish watching this film, while doing my other designs. I'll try to study sewing so that I could do this sketches and maybe, someday, produce and sell stuffs that are created by me and not just from thrifting. <3

{after 12 hours}

Sorry, I slept and distracted by another movie entitled "young love" and now "Anna Karenina". I think I'll post more of my sketches on my next post. I now need to go home to our house in Cavite but I'm still waiting for Hans to fetch me, lol.
Anyway, the two additional dresses are overlapped with bokeh photos I got from the internet. Just key in bokeh and they'll appear immediately. As you can see galaxy prints are having a farewell for 2013. It's very evident that photography also affects fashion lately.

A splash of Comeback

Hi guys and gurls! Did you missed me? I'm finally done with the very crucial part of my thesis life, but not with my academic life. So to award myself for finishing that part and also at the same time to lessen the stress in my veins, here I am back to blogging business.

I should post some recaps on what happened on those days I'm gone.

So anyway, my comeback post is composed of outfit that suits the summer heat. The clothes below are part of my plan to be worn this week, but unfortunately I'm getting fatter than what I have expected so I need to change some of my chosen pieces and seriously I really need to control my appetite. Oh my passion for food be gone.

 Pastel everywhere!

In my opinion, the ideal garments that fit this coming season are splash of pastels in fabrics made of shear or any light weight materials. It is also ideal to wear comfortable and loose sized base on your body type. I also love the trend that is currently happening, where Aztecs or geometric patterns are paired off to give attitude or impression in any type of ensemble.

Here is a photo of my room's curtain, though it's not in the two prints I have mentioned earlier, but look how lovely the patterns and colors are. <3
