Stackers Burger Cafe

Lovers sometimes fight but after a heart breaking quarrel comes a sweet feeling of kiss and make up. It is the best feeling especially if celebrated with good food.

It's been more than two years since it become us, but we still haven't been to Alabang Town Center together, so we tried hanging out there since it's just less than an hour travel from my place. After watching the Looper we've been attracted by the humongous posters of burgers in this cafe, so why not try.

And it didn't fail us.

Amber

We tried eating at an eatery near the Friuli Trattoria called Jek's ku-bo (bulalo at ulo-ulo).
I love its simplicity and quirky interior.

Now here comes the food, and to give justice to what it looks like, I didn't do anything with its photos:
Bulalo: mmmmmm....mmm...(yummy sound insert here) I like the taste and I notice how they were able to retain the crispiness of the vegies while making the meat tender and easy to chew. Each serving is good for two, so the price is really affordable and worth it.
Sisig: Nice texture, but I still need to add a lot of soy sauce to make the taste comes out.
Leche flan: I love the taste, perfect sweetness and texture, unlike the "pudding" I tasted in my last food review. :))

Then on going home we always pass on MRT magallanes where Hans parks their car. And finally, I was able to take a photo of this beautiful cityscape of Makati, including MRT line 3 and the hustle and bustle busy street of EDSA .
We also took a pictorial before heading home (as always), lol. Hans look 7 feet tall here. :))

Please hype for lookbookers here:

big flat bread

As an extreme pizza and pasta fan, after seeing this restaurant near the junction 1 of Puerto Princesa, we immediately decided to try the big flat bread.
I noticed that the interior is in fruity and modern look.
We ordered, heart attack pizza, nibblers, spaghetti carbonara and their best selling beverage, the four seasons blast (?) added with some fruits on it.
The heart attack pizza: geez, the cheese was so overwhelming, Hans requested for an additional melted cheese. I love how the sour tomato sauce was balanced with so much salty cheese on top, even the meat was so yummy. My mouth is melting right now as I reminisce how yummy this pizza is. :p
Spaghetti Carbonara: Very creamy and so tasty. I want to have some more!! Geez, I'm getting hungrier.
Nibblers: my favorite!!! But all of what we have ordered are actually my favorite, this potato slices are fried just right, with smooth texture inside while having a crispy skin outside. Even the saltiness is just right, you won't even taste the salt until you munch every piece completely.
The quencher: I'm not a fan of four seasons, but these mixtures tastes like they added something to make the juice not too sweet. <3
After we empty our dishes, we took an evidence how we love our meal.
 Burp! So full!

Kinabuchs

According to Hans, he found out about this restaurant from a friend and recalled from a magazine he read on the plane while on our way to Puerto. The place is called Kinabuchs.
rag turned into a glass mat

It has a hard rock looking interior, because of the alcohol and Harley Davidson motorcycle collections placed in this side of the bar. And at the same time the rattan materials seen from furnishings to the construction gives a feeling of resort vibe.

We ordered shanghai rice, sizzling sisig, caldreta and banana split.
Shanghai rice: just right, the platter serving made the two of us full.
Sizzling sisig: this sizzling goodness is really yummy! I recommend it for those who wants to try eating here.
Caldereta: Hans love it, but for me I'm off with the slightly tough meat because of my sensitive teeth, but Hans also somehow didn't like the potato, idk why.
Hans "nom nom nom"

And last for the dessert, we ordered banana split with mango, chocolate and vanilla combination, ice cream is always love. <3

Sinful Tastebuds

I therefore conclude that Italian food is our weakness.

Again for the nth time I'm having a review for the same food shop. Unless we have tasted all of Friuli's pizza, I promise that I'll stop reviewing for their food, except if I got sponsorship, ehem. :))

Before going home, Hans insists to fetch me from my boarding house, because he always suggest that we should eat first in Friuli before heading to South. hahaha.

Maybe we just forgot if we have tried this tuna carbonara, but yep still awazing. :P
Viva venezia, my second to tre formaggi, my kind of pizzas. <3

And the foodie couple. :))

Crazy Katsu

At last, we entered Crazy Katsu along maginhawa and near Friuli, due to Hans' fave restau is under some maintenance that time. I already heard this place from some famous bloggers so I'm really curious if what's with this restaurant.

When we first entered the place, the crazy katsu shirt made by Team Manila caught my attention, I love it's faded effect.

The place is in minimal Jap theme and I wonder if this artwork is made from wood pieces left from their furnishings.
I'm already full that time, so I just watched Hans eat this Chicken Katsu while I'm having a bite with a leche plan thingy they called "pudding".
The chicken katsu tastes good, minus too much chili they placed on top which Hans didn't liked, but the meat is just right and the sauce compliments it together with the veggies in the sides.
the so called "pudding"
IDK why Hans has this expression, hahaha, but as I tried the Chicken Katsu, I'm willing to try some of their food once we came back to this place, maybe just minus the "pudding" which I thought is really a pudding.
